This policy explains when money paid on pivu.io is refunded, how to cancel, and how long a refund takes. It is published by Siddharth Sanjiv Verma, a sole proprietorship carrying on business in India under the name Pivu ("Pivu", "we", "us"). It restates, in one place, what sections 7.2, 7A.5 and 7B of our Terms of Service already bind us to. Pivu Pro is the only thing Pivu sells, so it is the only thing Pivu can refund. If the two ever differ, the Terms apply.
1. What you pay for
- Recruiters pay nothing. Posting jobs, reviewing candidates and booking interviews are all free. A fee agreed for an interview is settled between the company and the Interviewer directly: Pivu does not collect it, hold it or refund it (section 2).
- Candidates can use Pivu free. Pivu Pro (application autofill and Job Radar) is an optional subscription of 1 or 3 months that renews automatically until you turn renewal off. Extra fills are an optional one-time purchase for Pivu Pro members.
The full amount is shown before you pay. See Pricing for current prices.
In India, payments are processed by our RBI-authorised payment partner, Razorpay. Outside India, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments, the merchant of record for those orders. Pivu never sees or stores your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
Pivu Pro is the only money Pivu takes, so it is the only money Pivu can refund. Pivu does not hold or collect money on behalf of anyone else.
2. Interviews: Pivu holds no money, so Pivu refunds none
Booking an interview on Pivu is free. If a company and an Interviewer agree a fee, they settle it directly and it never passes through Pivu.
That means there is nothing for Pivu to refund if an interview is cancelled, expires, nobody takes it, somebody does not attend, or it ends with no outcome reported. Anything owed, or owed back, is between the company and the Interviewer. Pivu does not pay it, does not hold it and cannot recover it for either of them.
3. Reporting a problem with an interview
You can still report a no-show, or conduct you are unhappy with, from the interview in the app or at support@pivu.io. We look at what happened and may act on the accounts involved. That is a conduct decision, not a payment one: it does not move money, because Pivu is not holding any.
4. Pivu Pro is what this policy refunds
Everything below is about Pivu Pro and extra fills, the only payments Pivu takes.
5. How refunds are paid, and how long they take
- Refunds go back to the original payment method (the same card, UPI account or bank account), as RBI rules require in India and Dodo Payments requires outside India. We cannot refund to a different account.
- A Pivu Pro refund starts as soon as we confirm it is due (section 6).
- It usually reaches you within 5 to 7 working days. After that, the timing depends on your bank or card network.
- We email you when the refund is settled.
6. Pivu Pro and extra fills
- Cancelling. Turn renewal off any time in Settings → Subscription, or write to support@pivu.io. It takes effect at once: no further payment is taken, and you keep Pivu Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. There is no cancellation fee.
- Refunds. A subscription payment pays for access for that period, so it is not refunded for unused time or for turning renewal off part way through a period. You get a full refund of a payment if you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after you turned renewal off, and a refund of the unused part if Pivu does not provide the main features of your plan for a significant part of the period for reasons within our control. Where the law gives you a further right to a refund, it applies.
- Extra fills are a one-time purchase and are refunded in the same cases as a subscription payment.
- Outside India, a refund of a Pivu Pro purchase is paid by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and the merchant of record, to your original payment method, and the cases above apply in the same way. Write to us and we arrange it with them. Dodo Payments can refund a payment only within 30 days of it, so we act on those requests the working day we receive them. Dodo Payments' buyer terms also apply to that purchase.
- Asking for a refund. Write to support@pivu.io from your account's email address within 30 days of the payment, with the date and amount. We reply within 2 working days and, where a refund is due, start it at once.
7. Charged twice, or a refund not received?
Write to support@pivu.io or call +91 96579 34528 and the email address on your account. We reply within 24 hours on working days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact our Grievance Officer as set out in section 20 of the Terms of Service.
